About us
FREO NASH HASH 2025 INC. is an association incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015 (WA) to manage the Freo Nash Hash 2025 event and associated activities.

David Phillips aka Screwdriver-President and Grand Master
Started Hashing in Kuala Lumpur in 1993, ex member of Mother Hash. Moved to Perth in 1997 and joined Hamersley Hash, South of Perth Hash and Freo H6. Was GM at Hamersley in 2003 and was a founding member and inaugural GM of Perth Crankers Cycle on Hash formed in 2009. Current GM of Freo H6.
Been involved in the organisation of quite a few Hash Events including Pan Asia Hash (1999), Interhash (2008) and was the organising chairman for the Hamersley 25 Year Celebration, Great South-West Bike Hike Preamble to Nash Hash (2015) and the Freo H6 1000th Run Celebrations. Has hashed in over 30 countries and attended every Nash Hash and Interhash since 1998.

Heather Wright aka Headlights-Vice President and Secretary
Headlights has Hashed with Heave Ho Freo H6 since its inception and taken on various committee roles such as GM, On-Sex, Scribe and RA, often doubling up on roles in the very early days when there were only 8 members! The club has morphed several times over the years with the club ballooning at one time with around 80 hashers including visiting sailors and fifo turning up for the weekly Wednesday night run necessitating the use of a microphone for the circles! Headlights was involved in organising runs and events for Perth Interhash in 2008 and the 1000th Run celebrations for Heave Ho Freo H6. Currently RA for Heave Ho Freo H6 in the guise of the clubs logo, The Mermaid. Headlights has hashed in Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bali, Fiji, China, Belgium and with various clubs around Australia.
Anke Kuechler aka Eveready-Treasurer
Joined Freo H6 in 2007 and was on the committees in roles as webmaster, Hash Cash and On Sec. Also a member of Perth Crankers.
Trish Sharp aka Butt-Less-Admin and Procurement
Introduced to hash through Bike Hash in 1999, then joined Rocky City Hash. A member of Freo H6, Perth Harriettes and Perth Crankers Cycle on Hash. Has been GM of Freo H6 and Perth Crankers and sat on committees at Rocky City, Freo H6, Perth Crankers and Perth Harriettes.
Was Operations Assistant on the Perth Interhash 2008 Operations Committee. Has hashed throughout Asia, in New Zealand, and England and has attended numerous Interhash, Australian Nash Hash, Pan Asia and Mekong Indo-China Hash events.
Worked in Sales and Procurement for a major steel company.
Co-Owner of an Event Management Company.
Chris Waller aka Assassin-Registrations
Commenced hashing in 1986 with the Obuasi H3 in Ghana. Founder member of two further hashes in Ghana (Bogosu H3 and Obolobo H3). Hashed in Africa, Australia, Europe, Asia and North and Central America. Attended multiple Nashhash, Interhash, Pan-America, Pan Asia and other national and international events.
Responsible for registrations for Perth Interhash 2008.
Past Grand Master of the greatest Hash club on the planet (happy to debate this over a beer, your buying).

Bill Ripper aka Boxy-Web Management
Joined Kelian House Harriers in the middle of the East Kalimantan (Borneo) jungle in 1996. As a Systems Accountant working on IT projects had the opportunity to run with many hash clubs while traveling. Joined Timika Hash in 1998 and Hamersley Hash in the same year. Ran with Brunei BSBH3 in 1999 and Perlis Hash in Malaysia in 2000.
Moved to Brisbane in 2002 and ran with Brisbane Northside Hash and had many roles including GM (twice), and Brisbane Thirsty Hash. Spent a year in Melbourne on a project and ran with Lakeside Hash. After retirement, he decided that Perth was home again and returned in 2021 to rejoin Hamersley Hash and sign up with Fremantle Hash. Boxy is also the Web Master for H4 and Freo H6.
Colin Kelly aka Bushranger-Web Assistant
Joined Perth Hash House Harriers in 1988.
On Sec of Perth Hash 1992 and GM in 1994. Have been on committee of Perth Hash most years as HashIT.
A member of Perth Crankers Cycle on Hash.
Attended Bike Hash Down Under events since 2016.
Was HashIT for Interhash 2008 in Perth.
Hash hashed in over 10 countries and attended numerous Interhash and Pan Asia hashes since 1998.
